Woods of Terror is a double bill of horror containing ‘Nightmare in the Woods’ & ‘Zombie Village’.
Nightmare in the Woods tells the story of three youths who decide to go deep into the woods to get high and tell silly horror stories to scare each other. They disregard the legend that the woods are stalked by a crazed killer who cuts, chops and decapitates young lovers but its turns out the legend is TRUE!
Zombie Village is a true exploitation classic. This is the film that started all of Jason Impey’s B Movie antics; this film was screened at the Tromafling Film Festival in Edinburgh in 2005. It tells the story of a crazy redneck who has to stop the living dead from devouring his precious little village, but the redneck turns out to reap more havoc than the Zombies!
This is a unique genre-twisting movie playing with all the sub genres of the video nasties, ‘Dawn of the Dead’ meets ‘Pulp Fiction’.
